Meet our Pastor and Staff
Pastor - Dan Wilcox
Pastor Dan Wilcox has served churches in Alaska since 2007. He originally comes from Pennsylvania, where he served in a local church starting in 2000. In addition to serving the local church, he serves as Disaster Response Coordinator for the Alaska Conference – a role he has had since 2014. When he's not around the church, Dan enjoys camping, gardening, spending time with his family, and doing plenty of reading. Additionally, Dan does some writing - primarily children's books. |
Pastor - Murray Crookes
Murray Crookes is an ordained United Methodist Elder with a passion for justice. In addition to serving as pastor of Alaska Native HOPE (History of Oppression Project of Empowerment), Murray has served as Associate Pastor since July of 2023. He enjoys connecting with people over good food and shared purpose, loves to sing, and loves his family, including Maria (Chivi), Alana, Lucia and Lady (dog). Pastor Murray is involved in local Anchorage organizations and tries to represent and support Alaska Native, recovery, and housing issues with regard to our neighbors. He serves on the Conference Leadership team, Conference Native Ministries, Western Jurisdiction Committee on Native American Ministries (CONAM), is on the board of directors of AK Child and Family as a United Methodist representative, and is also faculty for Native American Course of Study.

Music Director - Sherrie Criley
Nursery Care - Tania Morales Tania joined Anchor Park in 2012. It's very important to us that all children feel welcome and safe at Anchor Park. We follow this Safe Sanctuary policy carefully. All volunteers go through background checks and training before serving in children's ministries. Please contact our office with any questions. |
Custodian - Tai (Siaosi) Ulukivaiola Tai comes from Tonga where he was a champion rugby and soccer player. He represented Tonga at an International Soccer tournament in Hawaii before moving to San Francisco in 1989. In 1990, he visited his uncle here in Anchorage and met Lesieli whom he married in September 1992. Leseili and Tai have three girls: Janet, Liliane, and Eva. Tai is a dedicated caretaker of our church property. |
