Adult Ministries

Being in a relationship with each other helps us become a part of the Church family. Therefore, we are able to encourage, inspire, challenge, and comfort one another as the body of Christ. There are a number of opportunities to be with others of our Church family in an informal environment: United Methodist Women luncheons, Date with a Purpose, Prayer Shawl, Wednesday Afternoon Fellowship..... All of these activities bring us closer as a family of God.

The Chester Park Bible Study The group is a joint ministry of Anchor Park and East Anchorage UMC and meets at Chester Park from 10-11:30am on Thursdays. All are welcome. Chester Park is located at 12020 Muldoon Rd.

A Book Group meets the fourth Tuesday evening of each month at Barnes & Noble to discuss a book that the group members have chosen.

Church School Classes meet on Sunday mornings from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Classes will start back up Septmeber 12, 2010

Fellowship gatherings frequently involve food! On the first Sunday of each month, we gather after the 11:00 service for a shared meal.

Softball players have formed an Anchor Park team in the summer church co-ed league for many years. New players are always welcome. The season begins in May. If you would like to play or want more information you can contact the church at office@anchorpark.org .

Our United Methodist Women group provides additional opportunities for members to meet for fellowship and study.
