Prayer Ministries

An essential part of any church is sharing prayers of joy, of concern, and of love for one another. Anchor Park has several ways members can share their prayers with others in the congregation.

Prayer Request Cards are located in the pews. During the Worship Service, members and visitors are invited to write down specific prayers they would like to have lifted up before the congregation. These prayers are later added to the Prayer Journal.

The Prayer Journal, a collection of prayers lifted up in Worship and at other times, is located on a podium in the back of the sanctuary. It is available throughout the week for members to come in and lift up those concerns in prayer. New prayers may be added to the list, as well as praises when prayers have been answered.
