About Us
Our 11:00 a.m. Sunday Worship Service is usually composed of a relaxed, and blended liturgy and music styles, with Scripture, prayer, congregational singing, special music, and a children's message. At the beginning of the service, we generally take a few minutes to greet those around us, particularly those who are visiting.
Casual attire is fine at any services.
Church School classes are available for all ages, nursery through adult, from 9:45am to 10:45am.
Communion is served during the 11:00 a.m. Worship Service on the first Sunday of each month, and on special occasions. In the United Methodist Church, we offer open communion. As our liturgy says, "Christ our Lord invites to his table all who love him, who earnestly repent of their sin, and seek to live in peace with one another." (From the Book of Worship).
A Photo Board inside the door to the Education Wing includes pictures of church members to help us get to know one another better.
All-Church Potlucks are held the first Sunday of each month following the 11:00 Worship Service. Visitors are welcome to join us -- there is always plenty to share!
Directions to Anchor Park. Anchor Park is on the corner of Lake Otis and Oak Street between Northern Lights and 15th Street/DeBarr Road. Parking is across the street to the north.
From the intersection of 15th Street
and Lake Otis. (15th becomes DeBarr Road east of Lake Otis.) Turn south and travel about .5 miles, up a hill. There is a traffic light at 20th. Oak Street is one block further south, on the left.
From the intersection of Northern Lights and Lake Otis. Turn north and travel .75 miles, down a hill and up to Oak St. Anchor Park is on the right just past the baseball field.
